… but she’s my brand new bass amp! (and from now on I won’t refer to it as a she, that’s weird)

This is obviously a picture of a brand new one, because the only photo I have of mine is a terrible, blurry, low-light one from my phone.
Wanna hear it? Come on down to the Eagles Club in downtown St. Paul this Friday, where I’ll be playing with Neal Swanger, Edward Davidson, and Amanda Griswold in a yet-to-be-named brand new band! It’s going to be loud. Cover is $5, show is 18+, and yes - they serve beer. We’ll be going on at 10:30, but the party starts at 7:30; I don’t really know any of the other bands, but Edward’s roommate is in the Forever Erratics, so I guess that’s something.
…Because I just bought myself a T-Mobile G1, which runs Google’s Android OS. In fact, I am posting this from the phone itself, using a program with the thematically-appropriate title Postbot.
HEY!

Sorry to shout at you like that, but you should probably know that there’s a new podcast up on Minneapoliscast which was recorded at my studio, Seabed Recording Studio. It sounds great, the band was great, everybody had a lot of fun, and you will too if you listen to the podcast. You don’t need any special software, just visit the site and it will load a little player in the browser, and all you do is click the button. You can also download it as an MP3, or if you want to get really fancy you can subscribe to the podcast in your favorite audio program.
Jason Shannon and co. were fantastic, and it was really crazy having a full 7-piece band in my live room playing all at once. Since there was so much setup involved, we thought we might as well make them play as many songs as possible, so the podcast is almost an hour long; normally our target will probably be 30 minutes, but we’ll just call this a special New Year/new studio kick-off extravaganza.
